The new build has a lower advertised price. Is it the better buy?
Maybe—but I wouldn’t stop at the headline.
Picture comparing two homes where one includes the finishes you want and the other needs upgrades. Then add the lot, closing costs, timing and any ongoing rental obligations.
I’d put the actual inclusions and agreements beside each other before treating either as the cheaper option. Your lawyer should review the contract, and any rebate eligibility needs to be confirmed.
I like new construction. I also like knowing exactly what you’re buying.
Are you comparing a new build with resale, or trying to choose between builders?
